New Acropolis Cultural Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to revive "Philosophy in the Classical Tradition". This is a type of philosophy that is both practical and active, rather than just intellectual and theoretical.

The approach is based on a holistic type of education that covers all fields of knowledge and promotes principles of unity, co-operation and the harmonization of differences.

The member of New Acropolis - who come from all walks of life, age-groups and cultural backgrounds - reflects these principles by participating in a series of voluntary activities aimed at the benefit of the community where they live.

These activities are completely independent of any political, religious or financial interest and as such, become also a living example of what "Philosophy in Action" truly means
